The 46 mm, 18K yellow gold case is in mint condition and this watch can be worn either on the wrist or in the pocket. It has the characteristic Chronoswiss coin edge finish. Chronoswiss buckle and a tan strap. The case back is engraved with a sunburst decoration. This example is number 43 of a planned production of 300 watches (Chronoswiss never finished the series). The vintage Minerva movement Caliber C.1722R is signed by both Minerva and Chronoswiss. Chronoswiss modified the movement for the regulator display. It has 15 jewels and a mono-metallic balance with Breguet overcoil balance spring that beats at 18,000 VPH. This movement exhibits all the hallmarks of fine hand finishing: beveled sinks, polished screw heads, anglage with sharp interior angles. The silvered engine-turned dial has Arabic numerals for the minutes on a silvered chapter ring, blued steel spade hands, subsidiary dials with Roman numerals at 12 for the hour and Arabic numberals for the seconds at 6.
